I have a broken firing pin on my 12 ga. Browning Citori Feather XS (bottom barrel). Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Everywhere online seems to be sold out....I've been waiting for them to come back in stock for months and still no luck.

No I have not....wouldn't even know where to begin getting in touch with someone there that could help me.

Any suggestions?

Miroku firing pins are the same as Citori so would be worth a search in this direction too. They are available here in NZ so should be in your neck of the woods.

I also meant to ask...how difficult is it for me to replace the pins and spring myself? Browning says "some fitting required"....but I've also read where people did it themselves and said it was easy.

Any words of wisdom?

Having removed both my firing pins in my Miroku for cleaning and checking (same pins as used in the Citori), it is as simple as removing the stock and then using a small pin punch to knock back the two retaining pins and dropping out the firing pins. The lower one has a small light spring to keep the firing pin behind the breach face to stop drag on the shell primer, the upper firing pin does not need a spring.
I always carry my spare firing pins, hammer springs and top leaver spring set plus the pin punch with me when on a bird shoot away from home or when I used to travel around clay target shooting so if I ever needed to I could replace a broken pin or spring in the field. Never have needed to in more than 30 years of owning my Miroku SP7000.
