Is it possible to replace the MOA trigger on a Model 70 Winchester Classic with an original Winchester trigger, or are the attachment points on the receiver entirely different? Can the MOA trigger be replaced with a Jewell trigger?

Nope.

You can swap it with another enclosed trigger, but WHY?

Timney, I know, makes one.

Brownells sells a custom pre 64 mod. 70 trigger that's basically a tuned up original mod. 70 trigger and its a dandy for sure...Fixing the original mod. 70 trigger was an exercise in stupidity..

Xausa,

As noted by Ongwe, the FN made M70's are different. I'm pretty sure that Jewel only makes one to fit the older actions.

Timney and Jard make ones that will replace the MOA trigger.
