I have a new CZ 453 22LR and the safety is extremely stiff. It is impossible to take it off silently, and is just too damn stiff in general. I am looking for advice/input on how to smmoth it up. The safety is integral to the bolt on this model.

I tried some VERY light polishing of the corners of the catch with some 600 grit emory cloth, didn't remove much if any material, but it appeared to polish up the corners a bit, but did not improve function AT ALL that I could tell. I like this rifle, it is a good shooter, but this safety is so stiff that I would trade it before I stick with it....
