I have a Wood / Blue Tikka T-3 and was wondering if a Gunsmith could do anything to dull the bright Nickle-like finish on the Bolt and Bolt Handle. I'm pretty sure the Bolt can be Jeweled, but can anything be done to the Bolt Handle as well?

Would a light bead blast work?

I don't know for sure James, sounds like it may.

I was hoping maybe a Smitty or 2 might chime in here w/ some options, as I really don't have a clue

You can use a medium grit emory cloth, use it like a shoe shine cloth in one direction so the sanding marks go in one direction.

For a quicky fix you can also spray it with a matt clear coat.
