I picked up a Spanish Mauser the other day at an auction. Fabrique de Aramas over a Spainish crest. La Caruna underneath the crest. Also 1947. It cost a whole $55. Can't decide if I want to trade it or build on it. I am haveing trouble getting the thought of a real classic looking 7x57 out of my head. I also have a set of 270 dies and 200 rounds of brass setting around collecting dust. Decisions Decisions!

As a general rule, people are nuts!

No not a m95. I believe it is the model 1943 short rifle. Which according to Mauser Military Rifles of the World by Robert Ball was chambered in 7.92x57 and has demensions and specs quite close to the German K98k
