I have seen names such as Hart, Shilen, Douglas, Pac-nor, etc. in print here on the topic of barrel
makers, but can anyone share any information on McGowen barrels out of Illinois? Any info would
be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have 3 McGowen barrels.a 221 FireBall,222 Rem and a 22-250. all great shooters.i was well pleased with his work.number of other fellows around here have his barrels.they are also very happy. Rod
