Is a proper pillar bedding job superior to glass bedding? Score High Gunsmithing sells pillars along with their ProBed2000 Bedding Epoxy. I have used the ProBed2000 on a Savage 10MLII and it turned out very well. I am thinking that pillar bedding as well as glassing the recoil lug would be a good route to go with a MRC Model 1999, which is a twin sister to the Model 70 Win. What do I need to watch out for? Their instructions do no mention leaving clearance for the tang....are you NOT supposed to leave some clearance if bedding around that area? Instructions for the area around the bottom plate are good, as well as getting the pillars adjusted correctly. Anyone here do a pillar bedding job? What unforeseen problems did you run into? Or not? ************************ Our independence is dying. | ||
