My son inm law in Hawaii got a Springfield M1A. Now he wants to mount a scope and gets a "REAL DEAL" NC Star mount. What a POS! Heavy and the mounting screw doesn`t even fit the receiver as it is too short and wiggles a lot. Can anyone tell me the size this screw is? He says a #12 x 32 works but cant find one. The screw size is 12x32, and he can contact the folks at http://www.sadlak.com/si_rifle_parts_main.html The part number for their 12x32 hex screw is 140010-3P.
