I want to weld A barrel lug on my blank for a TC contender. I have always had them tig welded, But the man moved away. Is there any any other welding that will work?

There is more to it than simply striking an arc. That lug is subjected to a lot of force and if the weld isn't right, or, treated right during the cool down after completing the weld, the barrel and lug may part company which could lead to serious injury or even death.

Got to www.bellmtcs.com and talk to Mike. He's been welding these on for years. As far as I'm concerned, he's the best source on all matters concerning Contenders.
