Hi all, is there a site or source somewhere that covers gun proof marks??

Brownell's and many gunshops have the book, "The Standard Directory of Proof Marks" By, Wirnsberger

I've seen a LOT of proofs that I couln't find in the book but I know of no better resource.

There used to be a great source for Belgium proofs at "The Belgian Gun Page":

...but it sadly doesn't appear to be working anymore. I found and bookmarked it when I was researching a francotte manufactured Cadet.
