try and find a Winchester Model 70 Classic Compact in .308 and you won't have to do anything to it.

If you want some one to build you one contact Kevin Weaver at Weaver Rifles. He builds lots of super accurate ultra light rifles on any action you want and I've seen many of his on Win M70's. He is full of great ideas and does excellent work.
