Hi Gang.
Need some help on a kinda neat find I got today. It is a Mauser with a G33/40 action [Minty with a Mashburn trigger] in 22-250. The maker is a guy named R. Schmill. On the bottom of the barrel is the info "# 163" --2-54[ I would think the year] 1-14" [The twist}It came with a beautiful old J. Unertl 10 X scope. The 24" one with the 2 1/4" Objective lens. Posa mounts and an original Unertl BRIDGE mount for the rear that spans the receiver like the one-piece Redfield. It has a hand made laminated stock and is in mint condition. Figure I`ll either put it online or part it out unless this "Schmill" has a bit of history. I know the G 33/40 actions are one of the best and most desirable. Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated. I "think" the rifle is a W. Coast rifle but cannot be sure.

Aloha, Mark

Bohica,

E-mail me the pictures and I'll post them for you. Actually it is quite a simple thing if you post them on a site like http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.hunt101.com. But if you find it difficult initially, just e-mail them to someone who could post them for you.

Best wishes,

Mehul Kamdar
