Who has had a good PERSONAL experience with having this done? I have asked numerous people all the way up to turnbull and have heard nothing positive. I work in a full service store and we have our own shop with gunsmithing here for chambering, rebarrelling etc. but not set up for this.
I need someone to send clean 'shooters' to. Case in point is a 1886 Win 26" barrel in 45-70 thats bore is smooth as glass. Cosmetically horrible but action is tight.

I had one done by Jim Dubell in Washington state. I believe that it is Clearwater reboring. He is listed as a ACGG member and his contact info is there. I had Ed Shilen look at mine and he was impressed.
