OddBall2There is not one synthetic stock for the 1903A3 action?
Come on! Somebody has got to make one.
I am certainly not the only guy who wants one.

craigsterIIRC, Butler Creek makes or made one as does or did Hogue. IMO, the Butler Creeks were bigtime BUTT UGLY.

Do you drill the plastic so the bedding compound will stick?
13 February 2005, 01:54
p dog shooterYep drill it, sand it take a knife to it and cut some grooves in it. I drill the holes at differant angles both sides and bottom. I have bedded 10 or so of them and haven't had a bit of trouble with the bedding coming loose.
Take your time pep it right clean all the dust and that out should work just fine.

DavidReedRimrock makes a synthetic for springfield '03's.
They're listed under the composition heading on the Rimrock site.

OddBall2I like the looks of that rimrock stock but I can't find a price on their website. I supose that means if I have to ask it's too expensive.
