Ultrasonic Cleaners in the Gunshop

Every time I get an old Marlin or Winchester in for service with the original dirt, I think about an ultrasonic cleaner. But, I have no experience with one, and they can get pretty pricey. So, is the ultrasonic cleaner an effective, time saving that tool that is worth the investment? It would be great to be able to thoroughly clean a gunned up old firearm without manually scrubbing each part with a brush & noxious solvent.

We use one at work and it works great

I recomend a simple parts cleaner that you can get from SafteyKlean

I bought a second-hand machine, Crest I think, from a Gunshop that went out of business. It works very well, but is not long nough to accept a rifle. Big heater in it almost boils the cleaning solution, cleans great. Hot oil tank on it as well for after clean dip.
