I noticed this Remington M-30S barreled action in 375H&H for sale on AuctionArms. Looks like a good project.

I think if I didn't have so much going on I would pick that up. Then again, already have a 375....luckily it isn't possible right now so I don't have to worry about it. :-)

Looks like one of the a scope base holes is drilled to far back into the log meat area. Maybe all the way through...Id sell it too.

Ref. hole spacing.

Serial #17666 in .25 rem & #14875 in '06 none of the holes would appear to match the gun at auction. Redfield bases for a Mod 30 fit these rifles. It doesn't appear from photos the Redfields would fit the rifle at auction.
