Hey guys

I know somebody here will be able to answer this, I know the above cartridge is bases on a full length 8mm Rem case.

I was wondering if a standard Rem 700 action
from a 7mm Mag would be long enough to build this round.

Thanks
Don

The action would be plenty long. I don't have one to look at and my memory is going. You might need a new mag box or need to remove the spacer in the rear if there is one like on a M70.

As usual just my $.02

If you do a search I think you will find info on the STA or contact Phurley as he shoots the .358.
Mine was on the 700 action from a 7mm conversion. I sold it and need another on a long action model 70.

Thanks to all,

I may have a new project I guess the rounds are fairly easy to fire form.
And a guy gets some serious thumping power to boot.
