filmitMountain Rifles Company?
I'm looking for any info on a custom gunsmith that called his company Mountain Rifles. All I was told was they thought it was in Montana and he died in a car wreck/hunting accident. Sound familiar to anyone?

army aviatorI thought the company you are talking about is either in Utah or Alaska and their speciality is very light weight accurate rifles. I may have some information filed away in another building that I will try to locate this week.

Like you guys I thought the question was the action portion. My old boss told me he had ordered one of their barrels last week. So I assume they are still in business.
Your talking about Mountain Rifles Inc. Dana Campbell was the owner and he died about 8 or 9 years ago.
Rifles Inc is owned by a guy in Texas and they used to be in Utah. His name is Lex Webernick.

DPhillipsMountain Rifles Inc., Dana Campbell's company was in Palmer Alaska. As D99 said, he died several years ago. He built some very accurate flyweight mountain rifles, from what I can gather. I was saving my pennies to have one built at the time of his death.
