I put a Remington Seven in .222rem back together after it had been lying around dismantled for months. The was one bit lefter over that I couldn't get to fit quite right. A small "box" that in some wway take up the excess space in the magazine well to ensure the the cases feed properly. I put it in, and although it does do what it is supposed to do, it rattles. Does anybody have the same rifle that can help me? It's an older model, with the 18" barrel, not the 20" like the latest ones.

EXPRESS Relax it is not at all unusual for that part to rattle. In fact most of them do.

I just clean any oil off of it and the magazine box and use a little 3M double sided tape to hold it in place, no more rattles.
