Does anyone know if Harry still has his shop in Ste. Anne Ill. or is it closed up? sold? He had sold the barrel making business some years ago but was still doing some work.

Mr. McGowen sold his business. McGowen Barrels has been located in Kalispell, Montana, for several years.

While I cannot confirm this of my own experience, although I have visited them twice in the last five years or so, a gun maker-friend has informed me that quality control is twitchy.
