I use Timneys in all my Ruger MKII's, was wondering if anyone had used one in their model 70 and how they liked it.

Yup, I installed one once.....it's a fine trigger and adjusts well. It's a little more difficult to install than on a '98 mauser.....follow the directions, don't lose any parts, and you'll do fine.

Why not use the original trigger? Model 70 triggers are great.

Yes, works fine. I wanted to do the installation myself - thought it was a "drop-in" job. In the end, I let the smith do it - this business about "drop-in" was questionable. Your mileage may vary.
