I have a .45 caliber octagon barrel blank sitting around. I think its a badger....1 1/4" at the shank and 1" at the muzzle, 18 twist, its a heavy one.

What I don't have is an action, I'm thinking 45/70 or 45/90.

I guess what I'm asking is what action should I use? And does anyone have a suitable action they want to sell?

Got a 7mm rolling block that I have no time to build, and new wood for it too. You can have it at the usual exorbitant price....
