What year did Browning switch production of their 22 autoloader from Belgium to Japan? I am taking about the small one that loads through the buttstock.

I'm thinking that it was right around 1974 or 1975, but that's only from the foggy depths of my memory and not from any actual reference. Maybe by posting this it will get someone's attention who has the actual reference.

They were made by FN into 1976 and in that year Miroku of Japan took over production of them. Howard probably won't believe it because I told him. [Razz]
