Will a 7x57 feed rails on a mauser need to be re-worked to work with a 284 Winchester?
What cartridge will work with a 284 Win feed rail width? Thanks

For the first question, it depends on the mauser. I had a 308 mauser that was a regular sized 98 action changed to a 6.5x284 and I had to do work on the rails to get it to feed. I have had some that did not require any work.

My mauser was a FR8.
