| George, My LH CM short is ready and sitting in Jeff's office waiting for my two LH CM longs to be finished before shipping them all together. I was told it wouldn't be very long and that was a couple of weeks ago. Should really be anytime now. |

| I was told last week my LH SS short action was ready except for the bottom metal which was due in last Friday and mine was supposed to ship yesterday. If you notice nearly all updates and emails say "a couple of weeks" on every question. Dan is no longer in sales and is not doing any updates or sales related questions. Like I said before, I will believe it when it is in my hands. GeorgeS, I was told the LH SS long actions would be ready around 7/16/04. |

| Spoke to Corey this week, and mine is finished and over in barrel shop... to ship next week or two w/ barrel.
Mark in SC (usually in African Hunting forum) was called while we were hog hunting two weeks ago. His was ready to ship, needed FFL. FFL was sent, but Mark requested they hold it until the Long Action was ready. The GM called him this week to say, "Man, your action is ready to go". He relayed request to hold for other action, and that's his status.
I know this doesn't help much, but the first batch 20-60 of the LH Stainless Shorts was done, and most shipped already. Others in a few weeks. Long actions sometime after... "And that's the way it was, yesterday".
Safe Hunting.

Sam,
Notice that 7/16/04 is a "couple of weeks" from now. I'm not trying to make you feel bad. I'm waiting on two LH long actions, so you'll have plenty of time to laugh at me after you get your shorts.

| Per MRC on 7/23/04, their supplier(who does springs, shrouds, etc.)bailed out on them when Brian sent some parts back to them that were not correct. They put MRC work at the back of the line. MRC doesn't have another supplier for this work, so they weren't fired. I was told that the LH long actions probably wouln't ship before 8/16/04, and maybe not for several months unless a new supplier can be found. When I asked the question on when, Jon told me the sales mgr. just threw up his hands and shrugged his shoulders. It doesn't sound very promising... |

| Sambubba, Just a note to clarify your dates. Did you mean 6/23/04 not 7/23/04 and was the 8/16/04 the intended date? I'm waiting on one of these jewels too and am getting curious about a delivery date. |

| Has anyone talked to them lately or heard anything? Has anyone received a SS action? I know some have received their LH CM shorts. |

| I received a call from them about two weeks ago informing me my short action chrome moly left handed action was done. This included them putting on a 21" sporter weight barrel in 358win, polishing the inside of the action along with lapping the lugs and raceways and squaring the action . I had them send it over to Serengeti for a stock while it was still unblued. Serengeti will fit it to a AA claro stock and glass the action. Then send the barreled action back to MCR for a matte blue finish. Now Serengeti's time line is 12-14 weeks At least the action is done. |

| jbmi,
Consider taking a ride out to Kalipsel this summer. Serengeti's Rod Rogers is a lot of fun to talk to and so were all the rifle guys there. Drive thru Glacier part East to West so your on the inside!
It does not get dark in Kalispel until after 10 PM now. After that drive down along Flat Head Lake. |
