Swedish 94 carbine trigger

I took the rifle I built for my nephew to the range yesterday and had to use both arms to pull the trigger. Looking for a reasonably priced aftermarket replacement.

I see that there are two Timneys available through Brownells for the small ring Mauser, 883-100-791WB and 883-100-595WB. One is for the "Mauser Military Swed 96 & Spanish 93/95", while the other is for the "Mauser Custom Model 95, Model 96".

I would probably guess I need the first one. Does anybody know the difference, or can confirm which one for a 94 Carbine?

Thanks.

I think you need the first one but put in a call to Brownells or Midway whomever you are ordering from.
Bold also makes a trigger and safety for the small ring Mausers that works very well.
Dayton Traister makes a trigger too but I'm not fond of it. I do like their cock on open kit for the small rings.

Usually you can smooth up the Military trigger but they still have all that take up and creeeep!

All Swedish Mausers are the same regardless of model number.
But a functioning military trigger should not be hard to pull either. Nothing wring with good military triggers.

A Swedish Mauser trigger should be smooth. Try polishing the sear and replacing the trigger pins to help creep. Cutting a coil off the trigger spring or replacing it with a weaker spring will reduce weight of pull. I've got 4 Swedes and they all have great two stage triggers.
