I like to bed my rifles, mount scopes, etc. But often times don't like going into the cold garage in the winter to do it where I have a nice bench and vise.

It gives me the freedom to transfer a light vice to any table in a heated room to clamp a rifle down for minor chores. Works great as you don't need much pressure to hold a stock in place and adjusts for any angle so you can even sit down if you like.

Found mine on fleabay for $45 shipped.

That would be nice for working on AR's, too.
