Guys,

Do stainless barrels require different cleaning procedures than regular blued barrels?

Historically I have used Sweet's 7.62 solvent chased by Hoppes #9 with good results. Should I do anything different for my new stainless steel rifle?

tks, Mike

Go to the Krieger site and scrape through it; there is a two-page (maybe three) dissertation there about barrel break-in and cleaning of your new stainless barrel.

Buy a can of WIPE-OUT and you will never need a brush again. This stuff is utterly amazing and reduces the elbow grease needed to clean your barrel.

Good Shooting,
