Follower spring for the .404 J ......

My gunsmith (Jack Haugh) just finished the barreled action for my .404 Jeffery on a Oberndorf 1935 Brazilian Mauser action; everything is about as perfect as it can get, but the follower spring is a makeshift two-piece spring he made because he couldn't find one strong enough to get the rifle to feed with the normal spring. Where can I find a magnum-length spring to fit Blackburn bottom metal that is stiff enough to keep this rifle feeding as it currently does, and eliminate this rigged spring ? Thanks for your help.

Jim: Wisner no longer makes bottom metal (hasn't for about 5 years); do you know if he still has any follower springs, & how to contact him ? Thanks, FRANK.
