Is your old stock usable as a pattern?

where the stock meets the action has a slight recess to fit inside the action. The gentleman obviously oiled it well and the oil soaked stock has split off the lip leaving it proud. so, not really.

I have bought stocks from MGW, and I was very happy with their service.

it sounds usable as a pattern, if you don't mind it being worked over for that -- a little bondo and some rasp work will make it work ...

good luck!

MGW bought all of Winchester's stock factory parts, including gun stocks several years ago. They will sell you the exact stock, in the exact grade that you need.

Good luck

I would try Phil Watkins at Darlington Gunworks in Darlington, SC.
