Thank you to the gentlemen who advised me awhile back on how to fix the safety on my model 70 classic .300 Winnie.

I could not get that safety to go on for love or money. Took the bolt apart (taking that spring off and on is a bitch). Carefully stoned the mating surface on the firing pin. Just a little at a time and then check. And then a dab of grease. Now it works slick as sh_t.

Speerchucker, you really need to sell those model 70 spring tools because taking that spring off and putting it back on it a bad situation.
