What should I expect to spend to have a std commercial 98 bolt face opened up to accept a magnum cartridge? Who would you recommed to do this? Thanks! | ||

Along with the bolt face and extractor, the action will need to be altered to house and feed the larger diameter cartridge. Depending on the cartridge and amount of machining, my guess would be anywhere from $175.00 and up, plus any needed parts such as followers, mag box etc. Bolt face and extractor by themselves probably somewhere around $80 - 100. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine.
