I need more adjustment than I have currently in a MK V action I rebarreled for 6.5-06imp. I have a NIB burris 6-24x that only came with 22in total adj!!! I could send the scope back in place of another with 40in+ adj,...but I like the glass. Anyone know of a company who makes tapered bases or are the burris rings/inserts my only choice here??

Thanks

Yes... Brownells offers several tapered bases offering either 20 or 25 MOA. One is from Badger Ordnance and is a Picatinny rail thing for Rems and Wins, SA and LA. Pricey, though, at $150 or so. It's on Page 275 of catalog Number 55. Lightforce USA has an offering on the same page for the same kind of moola. You really should get their catalog if you don't already have one. Cost is just $5 and free if you order something. www.brownells.com or 1-800-741-0015.

Guys I must be missing something,...but I don't see them listed for the MK V action. I did see where Nightforce states on their website that they make them,...but I can't find them listed in the catalogs,..only rem and win.

JustC - Unless you must have them immediately, you should consider having bases custom made. Mark Stratton made some for my M70 to fix some "crooked holes" for less than $150. Just a thought.
