I have a model 17 that has been used really hard and need some parts. So far I can't find much on the internet, and looking at the gun it looks eerily like a Ithaca model 37 as to function and parts. I was curious if any of the parts such as magazine cap and pins would be simular. I also need the barrel lug that holds the magazine tube in place, but it looks like that may have to be fabricated. I was given to understand that Ithaca picked this design up from Remington???? Never rode a bull, but have shot some. Numrich has some parts including pins: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/g...on/shotguns-rem/17-3 Edit: Click on "Not Illustrated" and it will show parts not listed on the main list. The barrel lug is silver soldered or brazed to the barrel. You might find one on a scrap barrel. Check Ebay.

Remington had the design patent on the M17 in 1917. When the patent expired 20 years later Ithaca introduced the the Model (17+20) 37.
