I broke the extractor claw retaining clip to my Rem 541-T, so I've been using the one from my wife's 541-S. Rem had stopped making them. Whenever the wife wanted to shoot - I'd swap it back - until it also broke. Looked high and low, made dozens of calls to parts shops, gunsmiths etc and was even considering buying another model with the interchangable part. Finally I posted my problem on this site last sunday - got a great bunch of leads and had one on the way by noon monday [Jack First in so.dak.
