Several years ago I was asked to fix a rifle that would not chamber a round. The only problem was that the rifle was in Cameroon.

I called Dave Manson and he walked me through all the steps he thought I would need to fix the problem. I ordered a reamer and several other items.

Once in Cameroon I found that the problem was simply a lack of a bolt notch. An hour of filing and the rifle was ready.

Upon returning Dave was offered to give me a 100% refund. I would have been happy with much less and I told him so. He still refunded me 100%.

Dave Manson is a class act and I will always send my business to him.

Manson reamers are known to be among the best and I would urge you to call Dave Manson first.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Plus 1 here... Dave has a first class operation. The gals that answer the phones know what they're talking about and the tools,,, I've always received what I've ordered and those tools work like they should! Received good advice from Dave, too.

Well done JBrown. We need more reports like this. Many folks in this business go the extra mile and deserve a good public pat on the back.

I live near his factory. I needed a reamer some years back to clean out an old .22 barrel to make a garden shotgun and called to see if they had something to do the job. Dave himself answered the phone, we discussed the situation, he came up with a solution and I figured I would drive up and get the reamer in person. Dave graciously gave me a tour of the facility. His machinery is state of the art and his people are too.
