I speak from personal experience. Avoid him like the plague. What was supposed to be a 3 month turnaround ended up being 18 months. His communication was terrible. His checkering and finishing quality were pretty good but the job he did on the pistol grip and ebony grip cap was terrible. the cap was completely unbalanced in shape and thickness. One edge was 1/4" thick and the other side was over 1/2" thick. If looking at grip cap from the underside it looked like an egg that was round on one side and flat on the other. I kid you not - it was the worst ebony grip cap I have ever seen. I should add that it was supposed to be a steel grip cap that furnished. And the inlet swivel bases were very proud of the wood.
