I found some videos on youtube where I can take this thing apart. It is a military mauser with a thumb cut sporterized by Pasadena gun corp in the 1950s. Their safety and shroud appear to be chromed. I think the lever is cast metal. Does anyone make a lever that I can fix this thing with cheaply? I am trying to sell the gun and don't want to get bamboozeled anymore than I normally would. | ||

Problem solved traded it for a NIB Howa 1500 in 30-06 with a fluted barrel. I'll be picking it up in 10 days, gotta love that about California. | |||
