I am going to have a 375 Hawk/Scovill built. What can I do for open sights??? This is supposed to be a thrown together "brush" rifle. I have several other hard hitters, but this one, I am planning to mount a 2.5-8 Leupold in QD rings. I'd like to have some open sights. Everyone talks or writes of NEGC, I'll feel stupid, but what does it stand for???? Not looking for any receiver sights, just standard barrel mounted sights.

Are these going to be a pain for a gunsmith to install??

Jesse,

You might talk to Jim Wisner and see what he has in the way of sights.
