A lot of you probably already knew this, but I just discovered it because I needed a stock bolt for a Martini Enfield Mark II action. The large martini enfields and the small martini rimfires and cadets use the same size stock bolt. Both actions use a 7/16 x 14 TPI bolt. I found this out by taking the stock bolt from a cadet action I have and trying it in the Enfield. I found nice socket head 7/16-14 TPI x 5-inch at Fastenal for $2.08. The nice thing about this is that the Allen bolts work great with a thick thrust washer under the head.

Works on #4 Enfield bolt actions as well.

It makes sense and I had wondered that, but did not have one to try.

Yep,

One of my 12/15s has an Allen-head 7/16x14 bolt, since the original was not present with the action I purchased.
