I posted a question about a week ago regarding a Mauser 98 in the white and got a lot of go responses. Thank you.

Is there a manufacturer that offers scope mounts for the 98 in the white or stainless?

If you mean manufacturer like Leupold or Weaver, I don't think so. How about a custom metalsmith. A bit spendyer though

If you are planning on leaving the action in the white then simply buy steel bases and remove the blueing.

As usual just my $.02

I'm not sure what you decided to do with the action, but NP3 or electroless nickel could be done to the bases, rings, etc. as well.

Thanks! haven't decided yet. I just may go with black/blued scope mounts and a black scope on the rifle in the white. Need to see what my daughter wants.
