Gentlemen

I am looking for a place where I can get some Good Quality stock blanks.
I know Dressels and are thinking about getting a blank from them but would like to know if there was other dealers that I should consider too.

Cheers,

Andr

Andre,

Here are a few options....I have others if you'd like but, these sites look to have some very good walnut blanks...

Hold on to your wallet!

Old World Walnut...Bill Dowtin

Hunter Bid

Wood4Guns...De-Haan

Metal & Wood...Stephen Heilmann

Best Walnut

Regards,

Dave

Jeffery,
I would try to find a way to contact Presliks in Chico Ca. I have looked at Wrights wood at his shop. I was not impressed.

Mustfa Bilal has some very nice wood and his website is that shown under Best Walnut. His main business is photography but he has old family contacts in Turkey and he and his wood partner have some of the best.

Dressels are my go to people when I need something. They are close and I know the wood is dry and if something goes wrong with the blank they will replace it as most reputable dealers will do.

Are the prices at Dressels fair ??
I think that they have some very nive English but are not inpressed with theit Turkish ! I have seen great Turkish in Ferlach guns and other German gunmakers guns Like Hartmann and Weiss.

Cheers,

I received several photos from Jim Preslik earlier this year. To my uneducated eye he had some of the best blanks for the money. I am really looking foward to seeing his walnut blanks this Jan at the ACGG show.

Im looking for a blank too. I get hunterbid emails but they seem very expensive to me..?

I just checked out Peslik web site. They seem like maybe good prices.
Are their price very resonable?
