Can anyone point me to a good link that outlines how to regulate rear leaf sights? Calculate the height? Optionally, if there is someone that provides that service, that would be nice as well. Actual regulation can only be accomplished by shooting it. As for making one, you measure the front sight height above the bore line and make the rear to match, or a bit higher. Shoot and file. For longer ranges, depending on caliber, you want higher and higher rears.

You can plot the drop in ballistics software and trig the height required for your leafs. That said Smiths I've dealt with have not had luck doing it that way. You kinda have to shoot it to see. Then you HAVE to shot it to dial it in. www.KLStottlemyer.com Deport the Homeless and Give the Illegals citizenship. AT LEAST THE ILLEGALS WILL WORK
