Talley TnT rings

Some of you might remember that Talley used to make a set of rings (1" and 30mm) in a slightly different style called TnT.

I believe they stopped making them in about 1994 or '95.

I have a Dakota Model 10 with integral bases on the quarter rib that take only TnT rings.

I've checked with Talley before, they don't have any left over TnT parts.

Does anyone know a gunsmith who can machine/modify the bases on regular Talley rings to fit the TnT base?
(The TnT base has a very slightly different grip area than does the regular rings....my gunsmith at the time swore that the TnT rings held the scope more securely and repeated zero better...he was kind of a dickhead).

Thanks in advance,

Garrett

The TNT bases are just machined a little smaller in length so the regular Talley's will not fit.

Dakota still sells the rings.

TNT Rings

I still have a set that I would sell for $90 shipped if you would like them. They are like new. I don't think I ever put them on a rifle. PM me if interested. (I'll have to look around for them...I've moved recently.....!!)
