When I lived in South Africa I remember some one making a timney style trigger for the No 3 an no 4 Enfields. I cannot find my copy of Magnum that this appeared in, any ideas? The one I shot was a synthetic stocked 6mm Epps with the work done by Alex Duplesiss. Any help for a project would be greatly appreciated.

I have built and used a few #4's in one piece stocks with target triggers. The trigger can fit using two piece wood as well. Take a P17 trigger and file off the pin hole on the top. Thread the pin holes in the "draws" on the #4 for set screws and fit the front bar on the trigger to fit between the draws. The trigger has to go in at a bit of a downward angle. For target use you can install a heavy spring and cut the cocking piece down to about 3/8" or leave as is to have a usable safety etc. for a sporter.
