Reminds me of the Lothar Walther layout..I'd bet they would be happy to clarify.

If the barrel is polished perfectly..no ripples at all, would add to my assumption

Schuezten Gun Works in Olympia,Wa.Became Olympic Arms Inc..Has been out of business for several years.They made excellent barrels.

I have an SGW barrel in .223. I believe the company was located in WI back in the mid-90's when I purchased it, but could be wrong. I'm under the impression that it was broached. The rifling twist is left-hand. With a 5.56 chamber, it is very accurate.

The founder of SGW was from WI.During the 90's they were located at 624 Old Pacific Hwy Olympia,Wa..They made both buttoned and broach cut barrels.I worked for them for 30 years.
