Does anyone know who made this barrel? Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. He looks like you owe him money." - Robert Ruark, Horn of the Hunter, 1953 NRA Life, SAF Life, CRPA Life, DRSS lite

Reminds me of the Lothar Walther layout..I'd bet they would be happy to clarify. If the barrel is polished perfectly..no ripples at all, would add to my assumption

Elisabeth at Lothar-Walther says that it isn't one of theirs. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. He looks like you owe him money." - Robert Ruark, Horn of the Hunter, 1953 NRA Life, SAF Life, CRPA Life, DRSS lite

I have an SGW barrel in .223. I believe the company was located in WI back in the mid-90's when I purchased it, but could be wrong. I'm under the impression that it was broached. The rifling twist is left-hand. With a 5.56 chamber, it is very accurate.
