I have a pre 81 blr in 308 and it has two magazines. Neither of which work. The rounds will jump out either on their own or when trying to feed the first round. I have owned two before that never had this problem. I think the springs are too strong, but I am not sure. Anybody have any ideas?

Almost certainly the feed lips are bent outward or worn out; I'd bet on the former. Should be pretty easy to bend them back so they hold the cartridges correctly.
