I would like to have the name of a gunsmith within 75 miles of ZC 24541, Danville, Va., that specializes in revolvers. I need to have my father's .32-20 Colt Police Positive Special reblued and the original, badly pitted barrel replaced with another barrel which I already have. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I realize you are looking for someone close. However, especially if this is to be something of a family heirloom I would seriously consider having Turnbull take care of the gun.

Agree 100%. Cylinder & Slide also does excellent work, but they are backlogged longer than Colt.
