Whats the correct process. simple process of running the 375 case IN 300 h&h die isn't working well>>>a 338 file trim die first is better but not up to snuff, getting striations at neck/shoulder joint?? HELP//

Didn.t get squat over on RELOADING..

I used a collet in the South Bend Heavy 10 to reduce Winchester 284 necks before running into 6mm-284 die, did not lose many cases after that.

Ray, I'd first use a regular .338 Win sizer die backed off so that it just reduces the neck and doesn't touch the shoulder, then run the case into your .300 H&H FL die. If you happen to have a .340 WBY sizer you can use it without backing it off. Not everyone has a .358 Norma or .358 STW die sitting around, but that would also make a good intermediate step die.

BTW, what are you using for lube? I like Redding Sizing Die Wax, but there are others that work well, too.
