I'm curious if one would drop in a stock for a .270. Neither a feather weight. I'm pretty sure it will but want to be sure. Thanks.

Assuming they're from the same time period there's no reason it would not work. In fact, I have a pre-64 257 Roberts with a very nice stock, that I like to shoot. So I have a second stock that i put on it for shooting, keeping the original stock from any damage.

Thanks Ray, The 270 is a 50's rifle, I believe the Roberts is too, I'll check for sure.
